Nautical jewels in the lagoon
Between late May and early June, Venice hosts the Venice Boat Show, one of the leading international nautical fairs, at its historic Arsenale. This event brings the jewels of the sea to the lagoon and transforms one of the city’s iconic locations into a showcase of excellence for international shipbuilding.
A symbol of the centuries-old maritime dominion of the Serenissima Republic, the Arsenale becomes the ideal stage to welcome boats, technologies, and innovations in the sector. The Show spans a 55,000-square-meter waterfront, with over 1,100 linear meters of docks and 30,000 square meters of exhibition space, including outdoor areas and the historic Tese.
The Venice Boat Show is also an important opportunity to discuss environmental sustainability and maritime culture. Ample space is dedicated to new electric, hybrid, and hydrogen propulsion systems, nautical design, and innovative solutions that look to the future of waterborne mobility.
Alongside cutting-edge technologies, the Boat Show highlights the lagoon’s traditional shipbuilding, a unique heritage of the amphibious city and a symbol of a living artisanal know-how. The program also includes educational and sports activities, and meetings dedicated to the sea, the lagoon, and the Blue Economy.
An event that unites past and future, innovation and tradition, in the unique setting of Venice. For more information: salonenautico.venezia.it
